Spend management is about strategically managing and controlling expenses to achieve financial efficiency, cost savings, and improved overall performance for a business or organization.

One of the first things I always tell new business owners is to make sure you have a separate bank account set up for your business. Treat your business like a business by not comingling personal and business expenses.

Having a separate business account allows you to keep track of your expenses and make sure you are accounting for all of your business transactions.

Being able to run a business profitably is so much more than TRACKING your expenses. It is being proactive with your spending and having a plan.

You have also heard me talk about not only recording your expenses, but documenting them.
